1/28/10: A Quiz for Chapter 3 is posted on Blackboard. Due date is 2/2 at 3:30 PM.

1/26/10: I have delayed the due date on the quiz to Tuesday 1/26 at 11:55 pm (despite the due date shown in the quiz title).

1/19/10:Some of you have noticed a remaining error in the Blackboard Quiz for Chapter 2.In the last question please replace the words "real GDP" with "GDP Deflator." Blackboard will not permit me to change the wording that is displayed without deleting and reposting the test, which erases all existing grades. So I will ask that you take the test as it is, but make this change in order to answer the last question.

1/18/10: Chapter 2 Quiz I have assigned a quiz on Chapter 2 in Blackboard. Enter Blackboard, navigate to this class (Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory), click assignments. You must submit answers by 3:30 PM on 1/26. Before then, you may take the quiz as often as you wish. Only your last attempt will count for a grade.

11/17/09: I am currently updating this website for the Econ322 course to be taught in Spring 2010. The syllabus is under construction and will be tentative until this class meets.

Textbook: I suggest that you get a used copy of Macroeconomics, 5th edition, by Abel-Bernanke, or 6th edition, by Abel-Bernanke-Croushore. The 5th edition is cheaper and perfectly adequate. ISBN numbers are below:

Abel-Bernanke (5th) ISBN Number: 0321162129
Abel-Bernanke-Croushore (6th) ISBN Number: 032141554x

Two things you can do NOW:

1. Buy a textbook (above) from Amazon.com or Abebooks.com or other locations.

2. Join the facebook group "Economics 322".
